Published figures for the same procedure vary by a factor of five, and most of the pages carrying them are not clinics. So this section explains what actually moves the number, and we give you yours before you book.
Why figures differ
Three things move the number. How many sessions a course needs, whether the visit is billed as a consultation or a procedure, and what your plan pays toward each. None of those is knowable from a web page, which is why the pages quoting a single figure are usually not clinics at all.
Session count is the largest of the three. A banding session generally treats one hemorrhoid column, so a course commonly runs to two or three visits spaced a few weeks apart. The sessions page explains how that is estimated at the first visit.
Coverage is the second. Office procedures are frequently covered when they are medically necessary, but the detail is per plan, and a deductible changes what you actually pay. We check yours and tell you the number: see insurance and coverage or paying without insurance.
How billing works
Tell us the symptoms and send your plan details. Nothing is quoted before someone has read both of them.
We confirm what your plan pays toward a consultation and toward a procedure, and where your deductible sits.
A written number covering the expected course, split by consultation and procedure, before anything is booked.
You are charged what you were quoted. If the examination changes the expected session count, you hear it then.

The questions people ask about money, answered without a number that would not survive the examination.
Every cost on their site had a reason attached. What I paid was what the site said.
I compared two clinics. This one explained the number of sessions instead of selling a block.
The doctor told me plainly that the cheaper option would likely work for my grade. It did.
They were upfront that surgery would cost more and take longer to recover from, and that I probably did not need it. I did not.
